The angle of the weapon is unusual, the sprint movement sometimes inaccurate and teleportation requires some skill. The game control requires a certain training time. It's surprising that in a Doom game I'd rather play the discoverer than just be out for a monster slaughter, but the scenes just invite you to do so. I am really enthusiastic about the atmosphere, which is built up by the good animations, skilful light effects, partly loving (arcade machine) / partly bloody (corpse parts) details and hidden secrets. The graphics look fantastic and almost always runs super fluid on a GTX1080 with i7-6700 (all settings on high or textures on ultra). DOOM VFR is the first VR title that radiates AAA quality through and through.
